I do it too, but only over an IM client. It's just how I chat casually; I don't use periods at the end of sentances (I still use commas), and I also never capitalize a word that needs to be, other than something like "I".

Well, I absolutely can not stand unnecessary exclamation at the end of sentences, as well as completely worthless capitalization of words to try and express some sort of loudness. So, we're even.
