Hello, everyone. I'm a long-time lurker, first time poster. I thought it was about time I get involved with a Pokemon community.

Anyways, I've been having some troubles with breeding and I was hoping some nice people here could help me straighten things out. I've been trying to breed a Timid-natured Mr. Mime, but I can't seem to get the nature right. The mother is Timid-natured and holding an Everstone with another Mr. Mime as the father. I've hatched close to two dozen eggs with none of them having the Timid nature. Am I doing something wrong or am I just horribly unlucky?

That actually does sound like simple horrible luck.

Make sure neither pokemon is of a different "race". E.G. once i tried to breed a ditto with another pokemon and made the ditto hold an everstone, but I got the ditto from japan and it wouldn't work. It can't be just luck as it's a 50% chance that it'll pass on its nature.

I always hear different percentages; anyone care to give me an official answer on how often the Everstone passes on the mother's nature?

Unfortunately, Failure sounds right on the money, Komepelu. There's not much you can do aside from keep hatching.

One of the Mr. Mimes I was breeding was obtained from a GTS trade and is from Japan. Switching out the foreign Mr. Mime seems to have fixed the problem entirely. I'm thinking there's some sort of bug involving foreign breeding.

@ Gazmof: From what I've read common belief is that there is a 50% chance of passing the nature on when an Everstone is given to the right parent (when given to the Ditto or given to the mother when the father isn't a Ditto).

The coding for DP is terribly off for some reason and breeding with foreign Pokemon ****s a lot of stuff up. Using a foreign Pokemon with the everstone is like you never had one to begin with.

Well this is a breeding trouble form. So I would like to ask about munchlax. I am personaly way to lazy to wait around for one to come from a tree. So I put snorlax (plural) in with a lax incence in the daycare. and then i got snorlax.
