No it wasn't that forum was going about a G/S/C remake not of a Third D/P part!

The link in the very first post leads to an article titled "New Generation IV game to be announced next month." Gen 4 is D/P. That thread is about a 3rd D/P game.

I think that within the post they mention a G/S/C remake, though. I'd say it was kind of about both, and arguably G/S/C would still fall under Gen IV since Fire Red and Leaf Green - remakes - were under Gen III alongside Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald.

Either way both topics are discussing the same thing, so it'd be easier to just leave it to the older, and as such more looked at/replied to thread.
