where do you find shiny pokemon and how?

Off topic: Shiny Pokemon are completely random and are very rare. I think like 1 out of 10,000 (that's probably not how the game calculates the chance, but you get the idea). Shinies are otherwise no more useful than the normal one; the only difference is the color of it. Long story short: "shiny hunting" is a COMPLETE waste of your time, and is only done to impress friends in something that isn't worth impressing them over to begin with.

Why the christ do people hunt shinies? They are worthless. I don't know anyone within 1000 miles who would be impressed if I had one, either. Best case, it would be, "oh, that's kinda neat, you got lucky getting a shiny legendary".

They're just fun. But, honestly, I wouldn't go out of my way to use one unless i had actual use for it. For example, I'm training a Shiny Zigzagoon because it has pickup, I mean, why not? really really useful ability and its shiny. No reason to let it rot.

I am trying to get every from of eevee! The stone are a headache to get!

Just bury a bunch of orbs in a close area and the walls near them should start turning into "Gold Mines" for dig able items, I've got about 9 of each of the three stones needed to get the first 3 eevee evos because of that.

Maybe there should be a karma system for gravedigging ;)
