@ Glyde: yeah i was thinking Rampardos too, due to its goddly base attack
i was thinking Maybe this for it

Rampardos/Salac Berry (if you can get your hands on one, if not choice scarf)
Adament/Jolly
Mold Breaker
Ev's 252 Speed, 252 Atk, 6 HP

Stone Edge
Substitute
Swords Dance / Rock Polish(maybe if it wont die in one hit =/)
Head Smash (<-- if that attack hits, it should be strong enough to take a massive chunk out of anything, if not kill it)

hope that set actually works >.< it looks ok though

tiny bit off topic, whats your friend code Glyde, so we can try our teams on each other soon x].

@scoli since your cool this is what i was thinking with Rampardos (i tell you my Fc in the shout box laterp[i dont know it lol])

When togekiss dies i switch my defense and attack back to normal
Umbreon gets sent out and he guard swaps and he has super defense and shuckle just does status things
shuckle dies and i use umbreons gaurd swap again and give him the super defense and his EV will be 252 attack, 252 HP, 6 speed, he will have super attack, decent HP, and crazy defense and i give him moves that can hurt pretty much any one decent(and adamant nature like you said)

I know I'm bumping this thread, and I'll probably get a lecture for it like everyone else, but I was thinking about something that I recently recieved:

"Speed is poor substitute for accuracy."

This was one of my fortunes on my fortune cookie, and it goes perfectly for my jolteon:

Jolteon - Timid - leftovers
thunderbolt, HP Grass 70, substitute, baton pass

From what I was thinking, even though Jolteon has the necesary speed to pull off a substitute - baton pass combo, It lacks HP, Defense, and Sp. Defense to do so efficiently. Therefore, this makes the combo highly inaccurate for my team. So here's my question: Could anyone give me a suggestion for a pokemon that could effectively pull this combo off? My current team:

Blaziken - adamant - choice band
Flare blitz, Earthquake, Thunderpunch, brick break

Dusknoir - adamant - leftovers/lum berry
focus punch, ice punch, shadow sneak, substitute

salamance - adamant - persim berry
earthquake, stone edge, outrage, dragon dance

togekiss - naughty - choice specs
body slam, air slash, flamethrower, aura sphere

Wobbuffet - bold - leftovers
mirror coat, counter, encore, destiny bond

And, obviously, Jolteon - timid - leftovers/expert belt
Thunderbolt, HP Grass 70, Substitute, baton pass

Again, thanks for anyone who could help me.

My Turn!
This is my NU Normal Team!

Persian@Silk Scarf/Life Orb
Ability: Technician
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Atk/Spd 4 HP
Moves:
Fake Out
U-Turn
Hypnosis/Taunt
Bite/Return

Description: Persian is my lead pokemon. It starts off with a Fake Out to take advantage of STAB and Technician. Taunt will hold off Wall moves. Hypnosis is used to force out a possible switch-in. If I predict things the right way, and the opponent does switch-in I can U-Turn Persian to get to safety. Bite can be used to make opponents Flinch. Return can be used for the STAB.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ursaring@Toxic Orb
Ability: Quick Feet
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk 124 Def 132 Spd
Moves:
Swords Dance
Crunch
Facade
Close Combat
Description: This is my biggest powerhouse on the team, so of course this will be my Physical Sweeper. Swords Dance is to power up Ursaring's already ginormous power. Crunch of course is for those pesky little Ghost types like Gengar. Now for Close Combat, it's just basically an overall better attack for Quick Feet Ursaring. The Toxic Orb is meant for taking advantage of Quick Feet and get a nice speed boost and also taking advantage of Facade.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Wigglytuff@Leftovers
Ability: Cute Charm
Nature: Impish
EVs: 32 HP 244 Def 252 Sp. Def
Moves:
Thunder Wave
Sing
Counter
Seismic Toss

Description: This is meant to be my Wall. Wiggy opens up a can of whup behind with Thunder Wave or Sing to possibly force a switch. It uses Counter for those Focus Punch, Earthquake, etc. users, and unleashes Balloon Pokemon hell on them. Seismic Toss is of course gonna be my attack which is good since it would be at max power (would be more if it was a Fighting Type), and is good to use against Blisseys and some other pokemon.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tauros@Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
Nature: Impish
EVs: 244 HP 12 Atk 156 Def 96 Spd
Moves:
Stone Edge
Earthquake/Return
Rest
Sleep Talk
Description: Tauros is to be my Physical Wall. He can be switched in to lower is opponent's attack with Intimidate. With his enhanced Defense, he could possibly take a nasty hit and let me use Rest. He uses Sleep Talk to be able to attack with his other two moves. Stone Edge and is for those Flying Types and is a very nasty attack (when it makes contact). I would probably prefer Return over Earthquake for the extra STAB oomph but overall I would more than likely go with Earthquake.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Bibarel@Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
Nature: Careful
EVs: 252 HP 160 Def 96 Sp. Def
Moves:
Taunt
Super Fang
Waterfall
Yawn/ Swagger/ Thunder Wave

Description: Bibarel is meant to be the wall crusher. He can hit a nice Super Fang on a Blissey to take down half of its HP and make things a bit easier. He can try to force a switch with Yawn or Thunder Wave or possibly go all Lelouch vi Britania on them and make them kill themselves with Swagger *evil laughter*. Waterfall is for the STAB move. And of Course Taunt is meant to stall out Wall attacks like Stealth Rock or Thunder Wave etc.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Chatot@Salac Berry
Ability: Keen Eye
Nature: Modest
EVs: 252 Sp. Atk/Spd 4 HP
Moves:
Substitute
Nasty Plot
Hyper Voice
Heat Wave/Hidden Power(Water)
Description: Chatot as you can see is my Special Sweeper. Chatot can possibly 2HKO many Pokemon with Nasty Plot on it. Being That Chatot isn't the best Defense wise Pokemon, I use Substitute to buy some time to use Nasty Plot one or two times. Hyper Voice is the STAB move which is good for when Chatot has its Nasty Plots on it. Heat Wave is good for Steel Types, Bug Types and Grass Tpyes, and is even better against the combination of Bug and Steel like Scizor and Foretress. Hidden Power(Water) is great for dealing with Rock Types, Ground Types, and of course Fire Types. It would take out Rhypherior and other bulky Rock or Ground(or both) in about one or two hits. The Salac Berry is for the Extra Speed Boost when at the verge of death.
Your team looks good - I've been criticized for some of my suggestions, if not all of them, but I'll still try anyway:
since your pokemon are all normal, try adding in a flying/psychic type move, to nullify your horrible weakness to fighting.
Other than that, I can't think of anything else...
okay thanks ^_^! I went through Smogon hell to make this team. They suggested that I use a Ghost Type to counter the Fighting weakness. But I feel that your suggestion is more on topic with my "NORMAL" team.
most people probably just like to use Kangaskhang instead of Miltank. Just because of the higher health and attack.
I got my kanga then I just bread a bunch of them, so I could get a good nature. Now I have a few eggs. So If you want one I'll trade it.
Attack oriented:
shadow punch / shadow claw / (If low speed) shadow sneak
Return / facade / slash
Brick Break
Will-o-wisp / thunder wave / toxic / confuse ray
Sp. Attack Oriented:
Shadow Ball / Ominous Wind
Thunderbolt / ice beam / flamethrower / calm mind
Defenses:
reflect
light screen
shadow ball / shadow claw/punch
status move
Speed:
shadow ball/claw/punch/sneak / ominous wind
torment / taunt
stealth rock / fake out / hypnosis
perish song / elemental punch / elemental beam (Thunderbolt, flamethrower, ice beam)
1 other thing that I noticed in your team: If you are going to use this for competitive reasons, you can only have 1 LEFTOVERS in your party. I just realized that 3 of your pokemon have it, so try switching 2 of them for different items. EX: Lum berry, focus sash, expert belt, life orb, etc.
Hey there :) I'm new to veekun, but a long time pokemon player though. I've recently discovered the AMAZING joys of EV (lol), and have recently formed up a team of quite competant pokemon.
Medicham@Expert Belt
Ability: Pure Power
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 255 Attack 255 Speed
Moves: Hi Jump Kick, ThunderPunch, Ice Punch, Recover
Quite powerful when you take Pure Power into consideration, and her range of moves allow her to hit flying, dragon, grass, rock, ground, water, to name a few, for super effective. She can hit Gyarados and Salamence for 4x each with her punches. And if all else fails, can Recover some health to keep lasting on. I considered keeping Mind Reader instead of Recover, but I'd rather the HP recovery.
Lucario@Leftovers
Ability: Inner Focus
Nature: Impish
EVs: 255 Attack 255 Speed
Moves:, Close Combat, Shadow Claw, ExtremeSpeed, Swords Dance
Again, his moves cover a wide range of types, albeit not as wide as Medicham's. Swords dance, if it's pulled off, can further increase his substantial damage output, and once increased can go on a KO spree, especially with Close Combat. And being part Steel, he's resistant to Sandstorm.
Mewtwo@Wise Glasses
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Rash
EVs: 255 Sp. Atk 255 Speed
Moves:, Psychic, Water Pulse, Me First, Recover
Very powerful special sweeper, although I might have to change his Water Pulse to something else, I only put it on there to train him up because Psychic kept running out of PP to fast. Me First puts a nice little spin on some enemies attacks, and recover can keep Mewtwo lasting much longer than without it.
Kangaskhan@Silk Scarf
Ability: Scrappy
Nature: Lax
EVs: 255 Attack 255 HP
Moves:, Return, Facade, Giga Impact, Drain Punch
I know she's got a lot of 'normal' moves, but her high attack combined with STAB and Silk Scarf lets her pull off pretty nice damaging hits against most types. And having Scrappy means she can strike against those elusive ghosts. Drain punch is there for a small HP recovery, and also to eat up rock pokemon with ease.
Glaceon@NeverMeltIce
Ability: Snow Cloak
Nature: Quiet
EVs: 255 Sp. Atk (and mix of other EV, cant remember :P)
Moves:, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Hail, Hyper Beam
A nifty little guy, when mixing Hail with Blizzard lets it always hit, and combining Slow Cloak gives a passive evasion boost to top it. Ice Beam is quite a stable STAB move, and Hyper Beam to hit ice-resistant opponents.
Machamp@Quick Claw
Ability: No Guard
Nature: Lax
EVs: 255 Attack 255 HP
Moves:, DynamicPunch, Rock Slide, Payback, Toxic
Last on the team, and he's quite the powerhouse. Rock Slide covers pesky flying types, Payback crushing psychics, and if he survives the first wave of Psychic then he'll hit back with double power. Toxic adds a neat after-effect if It's certain that he's not gonna win, and with Quick Claw he can pull off some nice first-hit attacks. Lastly, DynamicPunch usually has 50% accuracy, but combined with No Guard makes it hit 100% of the time... actually makes all his attacks hit 100% of the time, regardless of Fly, Dive etc. There's nothing better than coming up against an Aerodactyl that flies up, only to be dropped to the ground with a nicely placed DynamicPunch! >:D
And that's my team. ^_^ What do you think?
The thing with EV's, is not to put all of them into 2 stats. On smogon, if you look at any pokemon, the highest EV in one stat is 252. Try to mix it up a little bit.
All your pokemon are attack or Sp. attack based; try adding a tank, wall, or staller, like dusknoir, umbreon, etc.
If you are using this team for competitive, take out Mewtwo. He's banned everywhere.
Now for each pokemon individually:
Medicham: Move some EV's to HP. Moves look good to me. Just watch out for HJK missing.
Lucario: Again, move some EV's elsewhere. I myself have always thought that Lucario should be special, not physical, B/C his Sp. Attack is higher. Whatever you use doesn't really matter; he is good in both stats.
Mewtwo: Take it out for competitive. I would suggest a wall here, like swampert. Using him, you can set up stealth rock, and slowly drain your opponent.
Kangaskhan: 3 normal type moves? try adding in a little variety, even if it's not much.
Glaceon: are you sure hail + blizzard = 100% hit rate? I thought it was 100% freeze rate? Anyway, doesn't matter, but I would suggest taking out either ice move and, again, adding variety, like shadow ball to complement its Sp. attack score, or take out hyper beam
Machamp: Quick Claw? I've tried using that item, and it almost never worked for me. If you want power, give it expert belt or life orb (if giving expert belt, give life orb to medicham)
These are only suggestions; If you don't wanna follow them, go right ahead.
